Winter Events in The UK

With Christmas behind us, it can be easy to see these next few months as a bit of a slog, but there is still plenty to look forward to this winter.

Many of our chauffeur service clients, hire one of our personal drivers to get them to events. Hiring a chauffeur for their own car allows clients to enjoy a few drinks at social events, avoid the challenges of parking at busy stadiums such as Twickenham, and benefit from the simplest means of travel to remote venues with poor public transport links.

With so many events happening this winter, we have put together our Top 5 events before April 2020.

The Cheltenham Festival – Tuesday 10th to Friday 13th March 2020

Spoiled by some awful weather last year, hopefully, we can enjoy some crisp spring mornings in 2020. The week concludes with the historic Gold Cup, and there is even an option to swap your horse jockeys for disc jockeys with live music and a 90-minute set each night at The Park.  While a great event, public transport to Cheltenham can be time-consuming, and expensive, which makes hiring a personal chauffeur a convenient option.

The Guinness Six Nations – February & March 2020

We wouldn’t blame you if you were still licking your wounds from the World Cup, but, this year’s Six Nations will allow us to move on. These fixtures are especially popular with our chauffeur service clients, so we have put together a special offer.

London Fashion Week – Friday 14th to Tuesday 18th February 2020

While Europe’s top rugby nations are rolling around in the mud, the eyes of the fashion world turn to the catwalks of London for Fashion Week.

250 of the globes biggest designers will be showcasing in what is a true, city-wide celebration. This year brings a new opportunity with more shows being open to the public, allowing the masses to gain access to the hottest new trends in fashion. With a busy schedule across London, a personal chauffeur could be the best option to make it across the city in time for your next show.

Burns Night – Saturday 25th January 2020

Burns Night or The Burns Supper is aged old Scottish Institution which is becoming even more popular South of the border. The party to celebrate the life of this poet involves plenty of Haggis and drinks. Awards Season – February 2020

The months after Christmas are often seen as “Awards Season”. While our friends across the pond are attending the Oscars and Grammy’s, we put on a very good show ourselves. On the 18th February, The Brit Awards will host its 40th edition. For the film fanatics, The BAFTA Film Awards will be hosted at The Royal Albert Hall on the 2nd February. With nominations already announced, it looks like it could be a big night for The Joker, or Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman.
