Summer 2016 Update

A Busy Summer of Events

The late spring and summer were an extraordinarily busy and successful time for Veho Solutions. Over a two-week window, Veho had a total of 80 drivers working for six different clients. This unprecedented feat was Veho’s reward for the hard work spent on finding new customers, recruiting new drivers, and developing management systems to deal with such a variety of demand. In July alone, Veho drivers were involved in events, such as, The Open Championship, Farnborough International Airshow and The Euston Park Endurance Race. Veho drivers also continued to work for a number of private clients who use our ‘chauffeur in your own car’ service.

Launch of Veho Genie

In July, Veho Solutions also launched Veho Genie. Veho Genie is a cloud based software solution that has been used by Veho for a number of years. It allows Veho’s drivers to set up their own profiles, apply for projects, receive assignment information, and invoice, all in one place. This system has been fundamental in the growth of Veho Solutions, and is now available for purchase under licence. Since its launch, Veho Genie has successfully been purchased, and implemented by a large security company in Manchester. In the coming months, Veho will continue to promote Veho Genie with the goal of expanding the management team to handle the increased workload. This may include the need to recruit account managers and people with the necessary IT and presentation skills required to meet with clients and assist with the installation and training.

New Team Members

The management team has already grown over the summer months with Oliver Hyde, and Andrew Bowen assisting through the summer. They both worked as coordinators during the Open Championship. Aside from that, their main responsibilities have been planning, recording, and editing numerous online videos for the Veho Genie system. This has included 6 basic user guides, and 10 administrator user guides for Veho Genie. The guides have made it simple for new Veho Drivers to understand and use the system, however the main purpose of the guides is to offer support for new Veho Genie customers so that they can quickly familiarise themselves with the system. Looking to the future

As the nights begin to draw in, Veho is looking towards its busy autumn schedule. This will include numerous events, many of which are with new clients who have been drawn to Veho due to its reputation as the premium driving agency in the industry. The largest event in the calendar will be the ATP World Tour Finals, where Veho will provide drivers and coordinators for the eighth consecutive year. In terms of Veho Genie, the team will continue to grow in order to provide the best possible support and service for new customers to the software.
